YEAH!!!!

the weekend is here for me!!

Awww how I love 4 days off... Yep 4 days baby!!

The car is parked & I just need to get my over night bag finish. (it's half packed) Half the battle for me is the packing the car of my scrap things. I always over pack my scrapbooking supplies.
So that leads me to over pack my car.

Nice for me this time cause I can leave some things in the car.

I'm very sure I will be taking lots of pictures with the girls.
We have a holder of DVD filled with great chick flicks... Rita requested a Twilight marathon. I couldn't agree more on that choice. THANKS RITA!!!

So I hope everyone has a great Pres weekend. If it's shopping or hanging with the fam... ENJOY!!

This girl is happy for many reasons...
Here is a few...

• 3 days headache free.
• Len is on the mead.
• Work was very slow. So I got a clean desk to come back to.
  
• House is pulled together.
• Last... I WILL get all my past Disney albums done.

Random~ness....

in my life.

Tuesday night I spent it an my scraproom going though my Disney albums... I go almost every year to Disneyland when I go home to see my family. As I went though my books & things I found a few pages I need to doctor up...
Now you might ask me why aren't they done...
Well I'm really good at not finishing the one I not happy about.

As my 4 day weekend is creeping up on me I think I will bring Disney to Kim's. I'm looking forward to spending time with the girls again. The past few weeks I haven't had the chance to walk with them, due to my sinus & all the crap in my head. (or scrap)
Funny how life stops cause you just can't think past your everyday things...
For me it's my scrapbooking. If I can't think clear I can't plan out what I want in my book or how I want the pages to be.

SO...

• Thankful my head isn't pounding any more.
• I can bend my head down & not feel that whoosh feeling.
• I'm not walking into the corner of the wall. Don't ask... really. Wasn't pretty the few times I did this. Miss judging distant, shoulder hitting the corner, me feeling more off balance then I was before I hit the corner of the wall. (last wed at work I did it 3 times)
• Planning on finishing 2004, 2005 & 2006 Disney... total of 10 pages.
• Hoping to order my 2010 Sept marathon & Disney Photo's to start that book.
• They are forecasting snow over the weekend also. REALLY now we are getting snow. So ready for spring... Warmth & sun sounds so good right now.
• Len is sick... nope I didn't pass it to him.
• I've decided that I never want to be accountant EVER! Even tho I did 2 years in high school. Dislike doing taxes for me let alone for some of our clients. Yes I do that.
• I am the best assistant ever!! Cause I do help with taxes for our clients. I pull all the paper work on the cars & homes for their business.
• Still pissed that I missed LJ performance. Just found out Jim took 200 pictures. As soon as I can I will have him shoot me some photo's & post them.
• I woke up early this morning with how I want my coast to coast scrapbook is going to look like. This makes me very happy!!! :D
• I posted my favorite song that gets me "going" every time I hear it... LOVE IT!!!!!
• Can I tell you how happy I am to wake up this morning with NO headache!! :)
• I have no kids this week to watch. BUT next week have them everyday! The calm before the storm... (as they say)
• Not feeling as sad & happy about it too. Didn't say the reason cause it will not be changing any time soon. Sometime things in life are just not in your control. You just have to sit and watch and be ready to jump into the game when you are called in. I'm good at that.

Well as you can see I really don't have much going on this week in my life.
Scraping, work, more scraping, girl friends, & me on the mead's from last week "I've fallin & I'm a big klutz"...
The word "Intervention" keeps coming up in conversions to me...
Ummmmm ??

Concussion...

really!!
how could this happen again??

well my day off this week was ok up until I slipped and fell on our hardwood floors. Yep!! you guessed it a bump on the head with a slight concussion again.

I joke all the time about me being a dork... I can trip over air. Well I didn't do that this time. But I have had this inter ear thing going on & I've been off balanced with my head stuffy in all. I don't do well in wet environments at all. My sinus are always a problem... I need to live in a very very dry area.
So my weekend has been a very low keyed one. Couch to bed to couch again... I missed a soccer game & LJ "Firewheel" performance at Western. :(
Can I tell you how bummed that makes me. LJ very first time performing in public on his unicycle.

My head is still sore... the bump is still there and I'm still
pissed at myself. (at least my vision is better)

I hope you all had a better weekend then me...

It did make me smile at times. I would go on the computer then my head would start pounding... go back to the TV and sleep.

Well life is full of up and downs... this was differently a down side for me. As I wrote on Thursday I was sad... Then this happened later. I guess I really wasn't in the game that day to say the least. I'm a half full kinda girl who knows this to will pass... It always will get better.

SO... Happy Valentine's Day my friends. I hope your day is filled with joy happiness but mostly love, you all are in my heart.

As promise....

Some of the gang that hung out at our house for Superbowl XLV. The house was filled with ALL PACKER fans this year. Now we had 1 die hard fan in jersey & brought his own lucky beer mug.
So all during the game we all cheered together & yelled at the TV together. FUN!!!
I don't think we have ever been to a party or had a party where everyone was for the same team.

During the game I was texting with Jake. He told me about how in Spain they didn't show any TV commercials..how can that be. What is Superbowl all about?? It's two of the best team going for the grand prize... the ring & the new TV ads for the year. They go hand in hand. Well that's what I think.
So at half time I got a text from Jake asking to set up Skype. He thought if they (his friend Ben) could see my TV they could at least see the commercial ads. So the above picture is my scrap room TV pulled out for them.... Below is my computer of the them but they are off the feed.

After the game I did a haircut on Austin.... then on Baby June.


Not all of us drank that night but here is what the counter looked like during the game. I didn't see how many were in the recycling bid already... LOL
I always enjoy my home filled with good friends & great food... Even when one of my friends is in Spain.
Jake... sorry it didn't work out :( but it was fun trying. I wondered during the second half how hard it was to hear the TV due to us laughing & the TV you were watching had a 13 second delay from the TV we were watching. Well next year... there is always next year right??

It was fun to see each of us wear are favorite team colors and cheer the Packers on. So we are already talking football gathering for next year. :D I can't wait. It will be a blast... and who knows maybe all of us going to Qwest field for a game or two.

As always friends thanks for all your love & support to this gal.... Toady is a hard day for me. A little sad. Sometimes in life you have to sit on the side lines and watch the plays that are in front of you. Your team mates are in the game and you are the second string. All the plays are being played and it's still a losing game. It's just a hiccup in the road as they say....

in time. As I watched Glee last night I went back in time. To a my high school days of girl friends dances & boys.
Yes Boys.... I dated a boy named Dan Caron. We met at the Ice rink. He worked the snack bar & Sue my neighbor and friend would so staking every Saturday . That's how it all started...
Blonde hair...
Blue eyes...
Oh that boy...
Dan had a bother named Ron. He like Sue... well I was 15 and I could only double date. So it was perfect. Dan liked me, I liked him... So our fist date was Disneyland in the rain... Crazy & fun.
Why is this important... the last song Glee sang last night was Silly Love Songs. Danny & I dated for about 9 months. After we broke up this was the song we both listen to... our breakup song.

So here we are how many years later and I still love that song. I wonder from time to time how he is. We ended up dating off n on all though High School. Stayed friends till I got married. Funny end to this story is when I told him I was getting married, Dan asked me not to. He was still in love with me but didn't want me to marry Len. Well I guess you can figure out who I ended up marrying.....

It's Superbowl weekend (well the eve) of the weekend. I'm in denial cause the Seahawks are not in the bowl... So in true fan fashion I will wear my jersey #8. Green n Blue baby!!!
Not really a packer fan... but out of the two teams I really do not care for the Stealers at ALL! So if I have to pick it's the Packers all the way.
