This is the backside of LJ's arm... this is the side that the bone went though the skin with the tissue pushing out with the bone. I have to say LJ always amazes me... I was with him at the hospital after it happen. He only cried cause he wanted his own room that night... we had to wait to get a room & the ER is no joy for anyone. But the tears didn't last... strong kid plus Auntie was being dorky & making him smile. I got the rubber gloves out & made hand puppets.. hey cheap entertainment & anything not to see him cry... That just would break my heart....
this is the top of LJ arm... they went in and tighten up the scar. The last surgery he had a very wide scar. I want to say he has 25 pieces of tape on the arm.
I can tell you this... today was a good day. A day of Jake's as I will call it.
LJ wanted to come by at my office to see me & show off his arm without the cast.
And I got a letter from Jake ... my friend in Spain.
