and the winner is....

ME!!!! Wow... how do I even being to blog this?? Rewind to yesterday 5pm. I know know know I needed to make one more stop when I was running around. Let me just give you the punch line..

• I ran out of gas!!!

After I took LJ home I know I needed to stop and get gas. I was going to meet up with Kim to show her all the Disney things I got from our friend Jen. She is going totally digital and getting rid of most of her things. BUT we figured we could do it another day... So I went home & I didn't stop.

Big gamble knowing how low I was... I don't have a newer car that tells you how many miles are left in the tank... SO i figured I could just do it on the way to work. There is a station on the way. I only work about 1/2 mile from the house... hehehe (I just love working so close to the office. walking to work on a sunny day is wonderful.)

Let me give you the highlights....

• started the car backed out drove 50 ft... done out of gas!


• coasted to the side of the road.


• restart the engine.


• DANG IT ALL TO ______!!!!!


• wait I have my runners in the car. Cool I'll walk to work.


• DANG... no runners. (I'm dress in my work clothes. FULL dress... with 3 1/2 heels on.


• OK Leah put your big girl panties on and suck it up! I got all my things and start walking.

So I then call Len and told him what I did... PISSED at myself... Somethings that's not new to myself these days... By the time I got to the office I was laughing at myself not pissed any more. All I could think was I soooo need to email my friend and tell him what a BIGGER dork I am... LOL

Jake enjoys teasing me about being a dork... I really don't mind. I am one!!

When Len got to work he surprised me and put gas in it. I figured we would just tackle it after work... Thank goodness he fill our spare tank in the garage with gas (last week) lawn mowing was done at casa corneto last week...

I look at it this way...

1. One more thing off my bucket list. (not that I had that one on it)!


2. Geat story to tell your friends who are having a worst day then you.


3. Sharing the story with my big bro Jeff... how thinks I lost my humor... REALLY!!!


4. Texting it to my girlfriend Jen who did it a year ago.... hahaha


5. Most important... I know how big that dang tank is now :D

I think I need to retitle my blog to...

"my life as a dork... I'm blessed."

I will alway laugh at myself.
